Cuz the fun lecturer flew back to australia. The lecturer that's standing in front now is very informative, but not as fun as the other one.

And right now hassa and the other guys are sweating it out in training. I also want to go for training leh.

I am officially an aunt.

Alhamdulilah, Mimy and her baby is doing fine. Was kinda entertaining, scary, sad and happy to watch Mimy go through the extremely painful labour!

And I'll leave you a video of my hungry niece, Sri Imelda. This video was taken when she's only 1 hour old. And I am lucky to be working in W54, cuz I get to do everything for her! =D

Did you realise, she didn't blink throughout the whole video? I think she got her eyes from her aunt (me!). Nyehahahaha.

And I fed her first feeding, took her first blood and burped her for the first time. =D =D =D

Mimy's in the hospital! She's gonna give birth tomorrow. And since I'm still deployed to W53A, I'm gonna send her down to the labour ward. Oh god I hope tomorrow will turn out smoothly. I'm quite worried actually.

And still no sign of Yebie. Haiz I think she flew off for good. =( Now Bluebie's all alone, and he keeps looking at me with those sad eyes. And he keeps hiding in Dila's hair everytime he perches on her shoulder.

I am so 'unseasoned', I actually have a pretty bad friction burn on my left foot from doing a sapuan during tonight's training. Or should I say, yesterday night's training. No more power in my kicks, and I'm so damn slow in everything. Haiya. I'm ancient already.

But the pain feels good. I've forgotten how it feels like to have a fracture, a dislocation, and bruises that's black or maroon and bigger than the size of my hand.

Not that I want another fracture or dislocation. Bruises, I don't mind.

Hahahaha and the funny thing is, I squeal like a pig everytime Zainal punches me playfully, or if I stub my toe against something.

Ooooo and Zainal and I designed the back of the uniform already and Hassa likes it! I really hope the team likes it too.

Ooooo and I spent 10mins bathing a baby. Made a very very warm bubble bath for him, and put loads of warm bubbles on his head. He enjoyed every minute of it, because he did not fret, cry, kick or struggle.

I did not hear my boyfriend's voice the entire day. It feels so weird. =(

Night shift again, after almost 1.5 months. I brought one thick stack of journals along to read, but usually at this time, my mind's gonna shut off. So might as well do something that keeps me awake, cuz I think reading journals will eventually put me to sleep on the nurses' counter.

My whole body is aching really bad. I miss this feeling, the feeling of pain, muscles 'growing' and pushing my body beyond my limits. Sadly, I always have limits, and very few coaches know that. Hopefully my new coach will come to learn of my limits and understand it.

7 babies tonight. Hopefully the next few nights will be as good as this.

Ok maybe I should make myself some coffee and TRY to understand every word in the 352-page compiled journals. I can do this, Matthew Reilly's novels are even thicker. I can do this. Yes I can.

I bought my syg an iPhone 3GS 32GB.

It's his belated valentine's day gift, advanced 2nd anniversary gift and really advanced birthday present. Hehe!

He was really speechless.

And we went to Body World.

Plastinated corpses. Very interesting. Everyone should go see it before they leave. This week's the last week, btw.

So as Zainal and I was walking around, I heard all sorts of funny/rude comments from different people. Some people can be really dumb, while others are really naive. Like really senseless stupid comments. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil.

Anyway, we headed to school after that. Zainal hung around school, while I went for silat training. First time in 2 years. My stamina's gone, my fitness level's gone, everything that Abg Nana and Kak Aida made me into is gone. Haiz.

And I was still having a fever. It was really hard to concentrate, to endure everything. But at the end of the training, I felt really really good. And my fever was gone, mainly cuz I was sweating it out. All of us have to push really hard, IVP's approaching and I really wanna participate in it for the last 2 times in my life.

And after Zainal sent me home, I took my blood pressure. It went down by almost 30, both systolic and diastolic. Wow. I really need to keep fit for life, otherwise I would really die early.

Oooohhh and the last time I took blood from anyone was from Haseena in her bedroom 2 years ago. Today I had to take blood from a lady. And with a single poke, I managed to fill up 4 full tubes. And she told me it didn't hurt at all.

I have a sense of impending doom.

Anyway I discovered I have very high blood pressure. For a 23 year old, it is very high, according to my lecturer who is also an experienced nurse.

But I still went to McD at NYP after class. Haha. Ya, today my class is at NYP. Fun leh. I had no sense of disorientation or whatsoever. I still feel like I belong there. But I feel very awkward when I walk around SIM alone. Hmmmm.

And then after class, Syu and I did some retail therapy. Cuz today was a very suay day for us. So we needed something to cheer us up.

A LOT of $$$$ habis on clothes. In less than an hour.

Very scary leh.

But then, life is short. Somemore with my sense of impending doom getting stronger and stronger by the minute, why not kan. And the clothes very nice! Now I got 2 white tops. Yeay!

I hate periods.

It'll make you experience cramps so bad, you just wanna go home and curl up in bed.

It'll make you so hungry one minute, and so stuffed the next minute, you'll feel like throwing up.

It'll make you sooo weak from the blood loss, that you can't walk, stand or do anything for long.

You can't concentrate. You can't think straight.

You're happy, sad and angry all at the same time.

And you feel like as though you'd just wet your pants. Again and again.

I hate it.

Anyway I missed SIM's first silat training. No thanks to school. Damn. I popped by after class for a while, they were really having fun! And I was recognised immediately. Damn. Which means there'll be expectations. Damn.

I haven't studied anything. Die lar.

I did an audit at work today. To a restricted area in the hospital. A place which I think 95% of the staff in SGH have never stepped foot in, or knew that it existed. It's under block 3, the basement. 1 huge basement. It was an experience. =)

Then I had no assignment today. So I carried babies. I let them sleep on my lap, on my tummy.. they're so comfortable. Maybe because I'm very cushion-y and huggable.

And we played COH today. Zainal, Rahman, me. That was, after meeting Linda and Syu for a while. I was devastated when all my grenadiers died. Sigh.

No work for 2 days! But I have school tomorrow.. oh well.

I slept at 5 and woke up at 11. And I'm still sitting on my bed.

I hate this feeling. I feel so useless and alone.

And I just discovered a friend's been going for chemo for months now and I had no idea. I had no freakin idea.

And I'm a lousy girlfriend. A really useless insensitive lousy girlfriend. I was so mad at myself, I slammed my fist onto the floor, forgetting that I have a really bad deep bruise from the IV plug the doctor set last week. Now I can't move my thumb.

And I got school later. 5 to 10pm. How am I supposed to concentrate later.

I nearly died at work today.

And our dear on-call doctor's having a fever today. Poor thing.. Even if God made me smart enough to be a doctor, I can't imagine having to work for 28 hours straight.

Met Zainal after work, it was a nice meetup. Short, but very sweet. Had my breakfast (at 5pm) with him while telling him about my bipolar day. And we checked out Harbourfront's 3rd floor. Never been up there before until today.

They have swimming for babies! Not a swimming pool, just a tub. Then they put this float around the baby's neck and just dump the baby in the pool. So all you see is a tiny, fat, smiling head bobbing in a tub of water. Sooooo cuteeee!

I miss my babies. Work's so hectic today, I didn't get to play with any of them. Boo.

But I miss all of them more. If only there's more than 24 hours in a day.

I've resetted my Tagboard, archives, photos. I don't know why I did that.

I drank a total of 5 cups of coffee today just so I could survive the day. Now I'm having palpitations. Hah.

Work was really really hectic. God decided 5 mothers would deliver their babies in a time frame of 4 hours, and he also decided to send all the babies to my ward. We were doing reflos and repeat reflos like there's no tomorrow, doctors were real vampires, and I was sweating throughout. Good thing I managed to finish work on time. Took a loooong cold shower at work before flying off to school.

Gosh, it's really tiring.. having to concentrate for 14 hours straight, except for the bus ride from Outram to Clementi. I slept in a really tak-senonoh manner, I think my jaw was wide open for 30mins cuz when I woke up my mouth was really dry.

Exams are in June, but Stuart's already telling us to prepare for it NOW. It's a 3 hour-long paper, 3 general essay questions, no word limit. Need referencing and all. Die la.

And I have work in 7 hours. I'm so dependent on coffee nowadays. If only my workplace got an espresso machine or automatic Voltage dispenser.

Wow.

It's been almost half a year since I last blogged.

I did this to my room last year. Every night I try not to look at it cuz it's a bit scary. I've been thinking of removing it, but I spent a week painting that!

I've been reading all my previous posts (since 2003, yes I've been blogging for 7 years. Sadly, I didn't make any money out of it). I 'sound' like a totally different person.

It's amazing how a combination of work and school can change your usual style of communication.

Yes, I'm back in school. University of Sydney. Don't go "whoaaaaaa" yet, cuz I'm taking it offshore at SIM. =) Syuhaidah and Masdiana's in the same class as me. And together with Fuzzy and Patricia, it's 5 of us. Always sitting at the back, trying to stay awake.

It's harder than I thought. Working full-time and being a student part-time (usually it's the other way round). Especially when work starts at 7am, ends at 3.35pm++++#@)#_@$_ and then you have to fly to school, get high on coffee and blurt out all the wrong answers to the lecturer. Give me another 2 months of this and you'll see me chewing on coffee beans in class. Or worse, stealing a bottle of caffeine from work and drinking it like bubble tea.

Oh, and we have lab lessons in NYP. YES! CHEAP MCDONALDS! First lab lesson's this coming Thursday, wish me luck cuz for the past 3 years I've been dealing with babies, and I think in one of the lessons I have to learn how to insert a chest tube in an adult. (?!?!?!) Die.

For people who have trouble remembering things, you should go to GNC and ask for Gingko Biloba. Try it for a month. It works, and it reduces risk for getting dementia when you're old. =D

I think SGH's really dumb to open up O'Briens to replace Delifrance. Put a freakin coffee joint la. Starbucks, PCC or Gloria Jeans. A place that sells something which every healthcare worker needs: COFFEE.

I have work in 7 hours. Which means i must wake up in less than 5 hours.

Hopefully I can get up on time.

I miss Zainal. =(
